Educator Workshop: Hands-on Opportunities at the Seaport

In this workshop, educators will focus on our hands-on and experiential opportunities at the Seaport! From the Seaport Boat Shop to our docks to our interactive field trip programs, check out all we have to offer.

Workshop will rely on the following format:

• Introductions and Overview
• Objectives, Evaluation, and Admin
• Context for hands-on learning and experiential learning at the Seaport
• Skills and Framework: focus, slowing down, and embracing new challenges
• Tour of boat shop, docks, and sampling lessons
• Classroom Application Workshop
• Review
• Wrap-up and Evaluation

Registration for this workshop includes access to the materials, Act 48 credit for PA teachers, and light dinner. These workshops take place after public hours, so educators get exclusive access to resources and museum areas!
