Small Craft Plans
Independence Seaport Museum has an impressive collection of small craft plans that are available for study and copies for purchase. Many small craft vessels in the index were built, or refurnished, in the Workshop on the Water and some plans were drawn by former Workshop staff. The collection focuses on the traditional wooden small crafts indigenous of the Delaware River, Schuylkill River, Delaware Bay and New Jersey shore.
If you are interested in copies of the plans, please contact the J. Welles Henderson Archives and Library at library@phillyseaport.org or 215-413-8640.
