Overnight Programs

Olympia Overnights

Want to live like a sailor for a night? Experience first-hand what sailor life was like aboard the mighty Spanish-American War Cruiser Olympia. Tour the two historic ships; enjoy a late night snack and hands-on activities aboard the oldest steel warship afloat. Olympia Overnights are available May through October. Visitors are welcome to stay the following morning for more ship or museum gallery exploration.

$50 per person. The capacity for Olympia Overnights is 60 people; minimum is 25. Dates are flexible and can be arranged to accommodate your group!




Girls Rock the Boat: Olympia Overnights

Join us for our :Girls Rock the Boat: Olympia Overnights! The Seaport is hosting two pirate-themed nights just for Girl Scouts. Visitors will tour the ships, participate in maritime-themed activities, and sleep aboard Cruiser Olympia! Space is limited so sign up soon!

Seaport Slumbers

Slumbers include hands-on activities, gallery and ship exploration, evening snack and continental breakfast. All children participating will receive a souvenir activity patch.

Cub Scouts may earn their Maps and Compass Academic Belt Loop and Pin during any of these slumbers. Activities included in the overnight meet the requirements for the Maps and Compass Belt Loop. Please remember that Scouts will receive verification that they completed the requirements, however, Independence Seaport Museum does not provide the belt loops or pins.
