Seaport Slumbers

An unforgettable experience for kids and their parents or chaperones!

Seaport Slumbers invites guests to an overnight adventure in the Museum or on our historic ships, Cruiser Olympia and World War II and Cold War Submarine Becuna. Guests begin their evening with a tour of the ships. Themed activities inside the museum offer a new way to connect to our exhibits. 

Later in the night, guests roll out sleeping bags to sleep among the museum's exhibits or on Cruiser Olympia, between the months of May and October

Learn more about Seaport Slumbers through some frequently asked questions and participate by filling out the registration form, provided below. 

$50 per person. A 30 person minimum is required to reserve the night. Dates are flexible and can be arranged to accommodate your group! For smaller groups with less than 30 people, please inquire about out our Family and Friends Slumbers.

Family Overnight - Saturday, March 10, 2018
Pack your gear and bring the entire family to Independence Seaport Museum for a fun, overnight adventure on Saturday, March 10, 2018. This is your chance to see what it's like to spend a night in a Museum. Navigate your way around our galleries on a compass scavenger hunt. Make scrimshaw and hard tack. Read stories on Schooner Diligence, our life-sized pirate ship. Conduct hands-on science experiments in our Citizen Science Lab. Take guided tours of our National Historic Ships, Cruiser Olympia and Submarine Becuna. Whether a staycation or a getaway, set up camp for a night. This Seaport Slumber family overnight is ideal for children, aged 6-12 years old. Snack and breakfast included with registration. 

Museum Members: $40/person 
Non-Members: $50/person
