Seaport Parade of Lights
The annual Seaport Parade of Lights returns to the Delaware River on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 5 p.m. The lighted boat parade features working vessels decked out in festive decorations and lights. Before the parade, spend the day inside the Museum for holiday activities and a special visit from Santa Claus. Museum visitors will get the best view of the parade from the 2nd floor balcony overlooking the Delaware River.
Enjoy festivities and entertainment from 11 a.m. – 5:45 p.m. inside the Museum
•Take part in holiday ornament making and gingerbread boat making activities in Santa’s Workshop on the Water.
•Take selfies with Santa before he heads out to lead the parade.
•See a lighted model ship display at the Ship Model Shack.
•See a Silver Ships display, an ongoing tradition featuring dozens of tiny silver ships from the Museum's collection.
•Yo Ho Ho, Mates! Pose with Calico Jack, a greedy scrooge-like pirate, this holiday season.
