Annual Fund

...what you can do for Independence Seaport Museum.

Independence Seaport Museum has never been more vibrant. In 2012, we opened six new exhibits; hosted the first-ever Old City Seaport Festival; and launched the SAILOR program, a collaborative educational initiative with Philadelphia area schools. We've only just begun and your support makes a real and meaningful difference!

Here are some examples of what your unrestricted dollars can do:

$30         provides five custom enclosures for rare books in the J. Welles Henderson
                 Archives and Library.

$65         purchases five acid-free archival boxes for the housing of historical artifacts
                 or records.

$100      is the cost of photographing or scanning a painting or historical print for the
                 online access.

$375      buys 500 feet of White Oak for boat building in the Workshop on the Water.

$450      provides ten gallons of paint to help preserve cruiser Olympia.

$1,500 brings a tall ship to our docks for the Old City Seaport Festival.

$2,500 purchases a tank where students can learn science with remote-controlled
                  underwater vehicles.
